Once again, Christmas has snuck up on us like an extended family member who’s turned up to our house unannounced – we’re pleased to see them, but now’s not the time. Could they come back again later please?

1.Online Auction of Promises
Following the success of our Auction of Promises, we are listing a number of items online. There’s a place at a summer drama school, beautiful artwork from local artists, a once-in-a-lifetime fishing experience, the chance to have someone’s name immortalised on a Gregson plaque, and loads more.

2. Christmas Mini Market
Want a less adrenaline-filled shopping experience? Why not pop down to our wholesome Christmas Mini-Market in the Cafe Bar.
This small, pop-up shop will have loads of unique and handmade gifts, decorations, cards and prints. Highlights include hand carved wooden kaleidoscopes, fused glass Christmas decorations, and incredible art prints.
The market will take place on Sunday 10th December, 12-3pm

3. Abstract Art Course
If it’s experiences you’re after, why not buy someone a place on Jess Levine’s upcoming abstract art course?
This four-week course in Abstract art allows students to explore lots of starting points, and a variety of art materials.
Each week will have a different focus which will include abstract drawing, geli plate printing, collage, acrylic painting, monoprinting and mixed media.

4. Why not try swing dancing?
From art to movement, Lancaster Lindy Circle are running an Intro to Swing Dance session on the 28th of Jan. For only £15 each, why not book a couple of slots for you and your two-left-footed friend to come go along to.
You’re sure to learn something, and have a great time doing it! Plus you get free entry to one of their Thursday night classes!

As you may have heard, we need £20,000 to break even this financial year. Like most charities, we rely heavily on the generous donations of our community in order to continue to thrive and provide spaces where auctions, markets, art classes, dancing and so much more can happen.
