Unleash your creativity and join our vibrant Screenwriters Group led by award-winning screenwriter and film producer Enni Red. Whether you are a beginner or experienced writer, you’ll find a supportive local community to nurture your talents.
Each session offers a perfect blend of individual writing time and group discussions, allowing you to develop your unique voice. At our monthly sessions you’ll also be able enjoy creative exercises in idea generation, script pitching, character development, and dialogue writing.
As the group progresses, local actors may bring your words to life in table read sessions. All you need is your imagination and enthusiasm!

About Facilitator Enni Read:
Enni Red is an award-winning screenwriter and film producer with over 15 years of experience in several countries. She holds an MA in Screenwriting from Screen Academy Scotland and a PhD in Film Studies from Lancaster University. Enni has written scripts for theatre, TV, and film, and has produced seven award-winning short films. She previously ran a similar writing group in Lancaster before COVID.Currently teaching film students at Lancaster University, Enni will bring a wealth of knowledge and a supportive collaboration style to the group.
