Stained Glass Class

A day course designed for complete beginners, taught by Sarah Walkley, Stained Glass Artist with 30 year’s experience. Come and learn the craft!

You will be shown how to cut glass and lead your pieces together to make a small stained glass window which you will take home at the end of the day. Cost £60 included all material costs. All tools provided. 10 places available.

About the Tutor – Sarah Walkley

Sarah trained as a stained glass artist at Vetrate Artistiche Toscana in Siena, Italy, one of the first studios to experiment with fused glass.
Sarah has been creating stained glass windows and decorative fused glass for 30 years and has windows installed in many public buildings, schools, churches and homes across the UK and Italy. She had a studio in London and in Kendal before moving to Dolphinholme recently.
Sarah’s love of animals and quirkiness influences the subject of her designs and her interest in ceramics and textiles inform her style. Sarah’s work is brightly coloured, joyful and exuberant.
