Adult Ballet Classes

Every Tuesday 6:15- 7:15pm
Join international artist Zoey Jones for weekly ballet classes for adults.
The main hall at the Gregson is the perfect venue for dance with it’s traditional sprung dance floor.
These classes provide a supportive and welcoming environment to have fun and try something new.
Attire:
Pink or black ballet tights, leotard, leggings, crop top, T-shirt. What ever you feel comfortable in but must show your legs and be able to move freely.
Please bring your own ballet shoes. Canvas or leather shoes with elastic (there is a ballet shop in Morecambe they will have all adult ballet shoes)
Please always arrive 15 minutes before class to warm up and make sure you’re hair is tied up.
About Zoey Jones
Zoey was born in Lancaster. Her exciting career has seen her travel the globe. Zoey is both a singer and dancer.
Starting out as a Ballerina, Zoey trained with a B.B.O scholarship and at The National Youth Ballet with Choreographer Wayne Sleep and Patron Darcy Bussle and Joana Lumley. At the age of 16, Zoey won a full scholarship to further her career in Performing Arts at The Bird College Of Performing Arts in London.
Over the years, Zoey has gained many interesting credentials under her belt, after appearing in the first ever POP IDOL competition with Simon Cowell as a finalist. Resulting in her success on the show, Zoey appeared in many UK tours and supported artists such as ‘SONIQUE’ and ‘BLUE’ and Atomic Kitten. She has performed at venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Dury Lane Coliseum, Peacock Theatre, London Astoria and many more top venues. She has performed in front of Royalty and artists such as Princess Anne, Sting, the family of Picasso, Stanely Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Wayne Sleep, Actors Omar Sharif and the Royal Family of Cambodia and many more.
