Opening times
The Gregson Centre’s general opening hours are 10am-11pm (some nights a little later), 7 days a week (unless an event tells you a different time).
All customers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times when in our venue. After 9pm, under 16s are not allowed in the main Cafe Bar or at events in the Hall / Olive Bar when the bar is open (UK licensing law). Whether or not under 16s are allowed at an event will be indicated on our website. Under 16s are allowed in rooms after 9pm only when they have been hired for a private function.
Some live events carry strict age restrictions – these are clearly promoted on our website. We may ask customers for official proof of age should there be an age restriction on an event they are attending.
Getting to us
If you drive or get a taxi, our postcode (LA1 3PY) is accurate in Sat Nav systems and will bring you directly to the venue.

There is no designated parking for The Gregson Centre. There are a limited number of parking spaces directly in front of the building, but these cannot be guaranteed. These parking spots are restricted for use up to 1 hour (Mon-Sat, 8am-6pm).
Bike racks are located at the front of the building.

Stagecoach bus 10 (Ridge Circular Route) stops at either side of the Gregson Woodville Street and Britannia Inn are the names of the stops. The Britannia Inn stop is on Ulswater Road near the florist – 124 Ullswater Rd, Lancaster LA1 3PX.
The pavement on Moor Gate directly outside the building is a tarmac surface and sloped towards the town centre, downhill.
The pavement on Williamson Street that allows access directly into the Hall is paved and slopes upwards from Moor Lane. The surface is uneven flagstones.
