Radio Gregson is the new community Podcast created by Gregson Centre Volunteers. We will be bringing you a varied programme of creative content including new writing, storytelling, drama, interviews, expert talks, comedy, music and more.

Each month will feature different segments produced by the talented team.

7 – Three Left Feet Takeover

Local theatre company Three Left Feet take over Radio Gregson! Find out about their weekly acting classes at the Gregson Centre, hear their fantastic tongue-in-cheek radio play ‘The Curse of the Missing Ruby’, and listen to interviews with class participants, class facilitator Eleanor, and Three Left Feet founder Elspeth.

6 – Talk about Tales!

Grab a brew and get comfy – Radio Gregson is back! This month’s episode includes an interview with Rachel from Talk About Tasty who supplies the Gregson’s cakes, local storyteller Michael chatting with people in the Cafe Bar, and a political fairy-tale from local author John.

5 – Transpiration & Pride

25th June 2025

This month Felix ventures out into nature to talk to volunteers from local non-profit Transpiration Wellbeing, learning all about their wellbeing sessions for the trans+ community. We also hear from choirmaster Joe and the Queer Community Choir, who performed as part of Queer Pride at the Gregson on Sunday 22nd June! There’s also a rundown of everything else going on at the Gregson this month.

4 – Ode to Lancaster

This month Yanis has a great chat with Jack and Faye, otherwise known as Baccy J and Folio. Find out what it means to be a music promoter in Lancaster, and the work that goes into making sure there’s good music on at the Gregson. Episode 3 has landed! In this episode, we hit the bar to chat with people about what makes the Gregson so special. We also enjoy a beautiful poem by Bridget, catch up with Emma about the family-friendly ‘Make a Nest Box’ workshops, and groove to a track from the electrifying rock duo Amplifier—who will be playing live at the Gregson on March 22nd.
