Glass Flowers Workshop

Age Range: 16+
Ability Level: All abilities welcome

An opportunity to learn how to make stained glass flowers, a perfect gift for Mother’s Day.

You will be shown how to cut glass and create flowers using copper foil and solder. You will be able to take your flowers home at the end of the course.

Come with your mum or gift her the course and come together!

All tools and materials are provided and included in the price, £60 per person.

About the Tutor – Sarah Walkley

Sarah trained as a stained glass artist at Vetrate Artistiche Toscana in Siena, Italy, one of the first studios to experiment with fused glass.
Sarah has been creating stained glass windows and decorative fused glass for 30 years and has windows installed in many public buildings, schools, churches and homes across the UK and Italy. She had a studio in London and in Kendal before moving to Dolphinholme recently.
Sarah’s love of animals and quirkiness influences the subject of her designs and her interest in ceramics and textiles inform her style. Sarah’s work is brightly coloured, joyful and exuberant.
