Re-Home Your Home-Wares
One persons waste could be your treasure…
What will you find at our Give and Take Day?
We’ll be offering up our community’s donated homewares to help reduce waste and encourage a circular economy in our community and across the city.
We accept items you don’t want year round – just drop them off at the centre (open 7 days a week from 11am-11pm) or just bring items on the day.
Want to donate?
-If your cellar or loft contains items you no longer need
-If your kids have grown out of their clothes, or outgrown their toys
-If you want an excuse to finally get round to that clear-out.
…Then please consider donating any unwanted homewares to us!
What we’re looking for:
-Kitchenware & utensils
-Cutlery, crockery
-Pictures
-Ornaments, trinkets & treasures
-Jewellery, scarves, bags
-Toys, games and puzzles
-Books & vinyl
- We’re not looking for donations of clothes this time round!
What we can’t take:
-Electrical items
-Second-hand bedding
-Things that are broken or incomplete
-DVDs
-Food
All items are free to take. If you’re in a position to donate, we’d be grateful for your donations to support our community owned, community led charity and enable us to do more in our community.
We hope to run these events quarterly – upcoming dates:
27th January – 10am – 1pm
13th April – 10am – 1pm
Our cafe will also be open on the day so you can enjoy so grab a cuppa whilst you’re here.
