Childrens Workshop: Weave a Birdfeeder

Age Range: 4+
Ability Level: All abilities welcome

Amy will take participants through the steps to the steps to weave a willow bird feeder. Great for putting fat balls in for the garden.
We’ll have time to make 2 of these and possibly something extra if time allows.
Learn a new craft in a fun, social and supportive space.

All materials and tools will be provided.

All children must come with a supervising adult.

Suitable for children 4 years and up.

About the Tutor – Amy Gunawan

A Lancaster-based willow weaver and basketmaker, Amy loves to share her skills with others.  She shares her understanding of how willow behaves as well as the sensory experience, the rustic textures and the beauty and warmth of working with a natural material.

Amy runs a regular programme of basketry workshops and sells her work at local fairs and on her website.
