About the facilitator – Lidia Ranns

Lidia Ranns is a multidisciplinary artist in Lancaster and Morecambe. Having spent 25 years as a graphic designer Lidia is now a well respected local artist who in recent years has started sharing running courses and classes to share her love with art with the wider community.

Lidia says: ‘ I love to work with bright, bold, and contrasting colours to make art but will always approach a piece with whatever medium best suits the style and feel, whether that’s with digital or traditional mediums. My love for graphic art still shines through in my Lancaster watercolour paintings. I love to maintain vibrant and bold colours, which is evident in my Morecambe watercolours that capture the beauty of Morecambe Bay sunsets.’

Lidia was a finalist in Lancashire Artist of the Year 2023 and also a Theo Paphitis #SBS Winner the same year too!
