About artist Lidia Ranns
Lidia is a versatile visual artist based in Lancaster, Lancashire and works in a variety of mediums, both traditional and digital.
Lidia has spent a chunk of her life as a graphic designer, specialising in brand ID and illustration, but painting has always been her number 1 passion.
Lidia loves to paint with watercolours, she loves how the water interacts and paints with you.
There’s so many different techniques with watercolour, it’s an easy medium to start with, but also the hardest to master too, although my classes are aimed at beginners.
The emphasis with Lidia’s classes is fun and creating a relaxing environment. Lidia is a very patient and empathetic and just want to share her knowledge and skills with other folk to show them how enjoyable art can be, and how much you can learn without any prior experience at all. Art can be a very therapeutic outlet, and it benefits your well being too.
