An immersive writing workshop as part of Wild Roots Nature Fest.
Everything is connected and in constant flux, and so this workshop will be spent walking, observing, interacting, writing, and sharing findings and imaginings on the thriving mesh of nature. All experiences and perspectives are welcome to come and write poetry or fiction or open prose. Whilst it might result in a finished piece of writing, the focus will be on enjoying the process and learning together.
This session is part of Wild Roots Nature Fest, a celebration of nature and green spaces in Lancaster, held during The Great Big Green Week, and the Gregson’s Big Green Day
About the facilitator
Sarah Hymas is a writer, maker, collaborator, facilitator and coach. Her works begins from where she stands and spreads out across water, woods and cities. Throughout it all, she encourages curiosity and creative experimentation.
