Sing and Sign offers award winning classes to babies and toddlers (and their parents/carers!) which encourage early communication through simple signs and catchy songs.

Babies use all kinds of gestures as a natural way of developing speech – they might point at something, or wave goodbye. Sing and Sign builds on this, adding in useful and fun signs to encourage them to “talk” to you before speech comes.

Sing and Sign was developed with the help of speech and language professionals and is a tried and trusted programme that has been running successfully across the country for many years. Little ones across the Lancaster and Kendal area can now benefit from this amazing approach to baby sign!

3 classes for different age ranges are available:

Under 6 months (11.30-12.30am)

6-14 months (10.30-11.30am)

14-24 months (9.30-10.30am)

Weekly sessions are fun, engaging and interactive and are led by an experienced music teacher.

It has been lovely to see families connect after the session by enjoying a cuppa in our Community Cafe Bar. Why not suggest this to a parent after the session?
