Could everything be a dream? Can we be sure we exist? Can we know anything at all?
In this workshop, funded by the Royal Institute of Philosophy, you will be introduced to and discuss Descartes Meditations.
Facilitated by Rachel Cooper, Professor of Philosophy at Lancaster University, this is a beginner’s introduction and no prior knowledge of philosophy required. It is not necessary to read the text in advance, although a copy will be made available to those who would like to read it.
This is a discussion-based workshop and places are limited. Please email r.v.cooper@lancaster.ac.uk to book.
