Do you like music? Do you like music tech? Are you between the ages of 16 and 25?
Local professional sound engineer duo, Jack and Faye of Baccy J and Folio Productions are bringing a series of live sound engineering workshops to the Gregson.
These workshops are for developing industry professionals (16 – 25 years) to learn practical skills in a public facing, hands-on scenario using state of the art equipment.
With a decade of experience BJNF will deliver a crash course from the 29th to 31st of July 1-4pm.
You will learn how to use the equipment, practical techniques and basic audio engineering theory.
On the 1st of August you will be in the driving seat running a real ticketed gig with an external headliner working as part of a team made up of the other participants. There will also be opportunities for you to play the gig as a support act!

BJNF is Jack Boynton and Faye Oliver. The duo have promoted shows for Pictish Trail, She Drew The Gun, Bryony Jarman-Pinto and more.
Jack has 4 years experience leading workshops at More Music CIO, has run be-a-band workshops with Escape 2 Make and live sound workshops with Showman Productions and Lancaster Music Festival. At all of their gigs they offer shadowing and volunteer opportunities to developing industry professionals.
