Lancaster Art Fair: Emerging Artists Exhibition

This year for the 2026 Lancaster Art Fair we have an emerging artists exhibition featuring four up and coming local creatives: Mia Walsh, Ethan Goodrich, Claire Johnston, and Elona Mupamhanga.
Their works are on display and for sale throughout August 2026 in our Community Café Bar.
Mia Walsh: Graduating from Manchester School of Art with a 1st in Illustration last year, Mia is now based in Lancaster. She’s currently working as a graphic designer and social media coordinator. Her work has a distinct and playful style experimenting across a variety of mediums creating large scale silkscreen prints, collage, drawing, and painting.
Ethan Goodrich: A 22-year-old photographer based in Morecambe, whose practice investigates the symbiotic relationship between humanity and the natural world.
His work considers the influence of natural environments on mental and physical wellbeing, inviting viewers to reflect on the enduring psychological connections between people and place. Through landscape photography, Goodrich explores the essential role nature continues to play in the human experience.
As an emerging artist, he is developing a body of work centred on landscape, wellbeing, and environmental awareness.
Claire Johnston: Claire rekindled her love for art and creativity about 5 years ago. Whilst she still works full time she spends any free time developing her art practice. Her work has evolved over the last few years to combine her love of nature, textiles, colour and texture. She works with a combination of fabrics, wool, threads, collage and found objects to create semi abstract textile landscapes and seascapes
