Lancaster Grassroots Filmmakers is a filmmaking club with a focus is on grassroots and community filmmaking.
Their goal is to make filmmaking open to everyone. They believe that everyone should be able to create impactful films about the stories that are important to them.
Expect a range of creative workshops, networking events and feedback sessions, to give you the tools and connections required to make your own films as independent filmmakers.
They take a broad view of what is considered to be ‘film’ – from fiction/drama to documentaries to comedy skits and from video essays and social media formats.

About Rory
Rory Yeung has ten years experience in the film & TV industries, including roles on feature films and blue-chip wildlife documentaries.
His first film experience was at a university film club in 2010, before moving onto a career in post-production. He also holds an MA in Directing & Producing Science & Natural History from the National Film & Television School.
