Come along to our craft and chat group: enjoy learning how to crochet, cross stitch, do diamond art or hone your own craft project, and most importantly have fun and make new friends.
This is a great opportunity to meet new people and learn a different skill or improve on a craft you already know in a friendly informal setting where you can buy a cuppa and a cake!
You might already be a keen crafter, or you might just fancy trying something new – all are welcome.

Hi I’m Mel, originally from the North East, lived in Manchester, Todmorden and Newbury, but have been living on a narrowboat in Lancaster since 2023. I’ve been interested in crafting since I was 16 and helped out making props. I’ve made everything from tribal masks to a 1950s movie camera, and tried all kinds of crafts; as well as running various craft sessions previously.
My motto is that there are no mistakes in a craft session, everyone creates their own unique work. We’re aiming to make sure sessions are welcoming, fun and creative – it all adds to positive wellbeing! I look forward to meeting you

The Cafe Bar is lit by halogen spotlights in the side with the bar and the further room is lit by led lighting.
