We are offering a warm welcoming space and a free hot drink for those who need one this winter with our new “Coffee on Me” scheme.

This means that anyone can have a hot drink and a warm place to sit without worrying about cost. You can stay as long as you like, use our free wifi, charge your phone, play board games, and take a book from our book swap.

The noticeboard next to the main bar will now say ‘Coffee on Me’, and consist of 2 wallets:

1. Take a Free Drink
   Here, you can grab a free tea / coffee token from the folder and take it to the bar to pay for. This will cost £3. A member of staff will then place the receipt into the other folder for anyone to use.
    
2. Pay it Forward
   Here, you can take a receipt for a Free Hot Drink to the bar and get yourself any tea or coffee, free of charge.
   

This scheme will be available between 10am-5pm Monday to Friday, and 11am-5pm Saturday + Sunday. It will run until the end of March.

We have wanted to run this for a while, and are only able to offer it thanks to support and donations from our community. The best way to help the Gregson is to become a Supporter. From as little as £3 a month (yes, the price of one coffee every month), you will be directly financially supporting our community led charity to thrive. Every supporter that signs up during Jan-March we’ll add two free Tea/Coffee tokens on your behalf.

The Gregson works because lots of people do lots of little things – in a small charity like ours, every penny counts. Your support will mean that we can run our Coffee on Me scheme in the future, and continue to respond to our community’s needs.
